About

Built to tell you the truth when things break.

RealUptime is an independent company: no funding announcements, no growth theater. Four products built to fix one specific problem with how teams find out something is broken.

The problem

Most status pages check from a single location, often close to the monitoring vendor's own infrastructure, and collapse the result into one badge. That single check can say “operational” while an entire region of real customers is seeing errors. It is not a bug in the monitoring, it is the default shape of how most status pages are built. See why status pages lie for the full explanation.

RealUptime shows separate readings from each region it checks, US-East, US-West, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, as the default view rather than a setting buried in a dashboard. It is a decision about what to show first, not a claim to unique technology; other monitoring tools can check from multiple regions too. The point is honesty about what a single green badge can hide, not a moat.

How we work

RealUptime is independent and deliberately lean: no outbound sales motion, no ticket queue theater. Support is direct, handled by email by the same team that builds the product, and reviewed regularly rather than staffed around the clock. See the support page for what to expect.

One customer, more than one product

RealUptime Status, a public status page and incident communication, is the flagship product. RealUptime Monitor, private uptime monitoring and alerts without a public page, runs on the same probe infrastructure for teams that want to know about a regional issue before anyone asks, not to publish one. RealUptime Errors adds application error tracking, so the errors your code throws sit beside the uptime your probes measure. RealUptime Outages, the free public outage tracker, is the same fleet pointed at the services everyone depends on.

All of them are built for the same customer: developers and small companies who need an honest read on their own infrastructure, not enterprises with an existing observability budget. Future products under the RealUptime name are meant to serve that same customer rather than chase a new market, and none of them ship without being built first. One account covers every product; start free with any of them.
